CST is committed to improve people’s health and environmental safety by promoting toxicology innovation and application, as well as increasing the impact of toxicology solutions in China and abroad. The aims of CST are to extensively mobilize, unite and serve the toxicologists all over China, push forward the development and prosperity of toxicology science in China, promote the career growth of toxicology professionals and young talents, popularize toxicological science to public.

The National Toxicology Congress of Chinese Society of Toxicology (NTCCST) is the highest academic event of toxicology in China, it is hosted by CST every 2 years. CST also organizes its Youth Forum of Science and Technology every two years. In addition, a series of abroad topics of conferences, workshops and continuing education courses are held every year by CST and its Specialty Committees. A series of international conferences were held successfully, e.g. the 5th Congress of Toxicology in Developing Countries (2003, Guilin), the 4th International Congress of Asian society of Toxicology (2006, Zhuhai), the Forum and Training of Risk Assessment held in cooperation with IUTOX, the third International Conference on Biomedical and Environmental Science and Technology (icBEST) (2010, Beijing), the 13th International Neurotoxicology Association Meeting (2011, Xi’an), the 6th International Conference on Nanotoxicology (2012, Beijing), Regulatory Toxicology & Risk Assessment Course (IUTOX/CST, 2014), with ACT to co-organize a SD Training Course(2017, 2018, Shanghai), and Asian Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (AsiaNANO, 2018).
