Third Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the preparations for 9th International Congress of Asian Society of Toxicology are going very smoothly, the congress is going to be held as planned on 20-23 October 2021, in a combination of virtual and on-site in Hangzhou, China. ASIATOX-IX will be organized in conjunction with the 8th CST Youth Forum of Science and Technology. The theme of the Congress is “The Asia Toxicology in Big Data Era: from Public Health to Environmental Safety”. Due to the situations of COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty of international travel, the delegates from outside mainland China will join in the congress online, which will be connected through ZOOM Meeting system. The Organizers, Chinese Society of Toxicology and Asian Society of Toxicology are warmly welcome you to register and participate in the Congress either on-line or on-site in Hangzhou, China.

nCongress Lectures

3.Oral presentation

All oral presentations from outside of Mainland China will be Video pre-recorded, with a real-time introduction and open discussion. Speakers are required to submit the digital file of their recorded video presentations to the congress secretariat (Email: cst@chntox.org) prior to the deadline, 8 October 2021. A technical instruction on how to record using PowerPoint and submit will be sent to the speakers via email, along with a formal Invitation Letter soon after.

nCongress Awards

The Congress Committee will select excellent paper and poster awards at the Closing Ceremony. The Award Certificate will be issued by the ASIATOX and the CST, and/or other sponsoring Societies.

The Chinese Society of Toxicology will also award its awards and certificates including "CST Outstanding Contribution Award on Toxicology", "CST Alternative Toxicology Development Award", “CST Campus Science Popularization Competition Award”, and present Diplomat of Certified Toxicologist, CST.

nGuideline for Attending the Congress

1. Participate online

When you registered to attend the congress virtually, you will receive an instruction with the congress code & password, guiding you to connect the ZOOM meeting system of ASIATOX-IX. You are required to pre-install the ZOOM software in your computer.

2. Participate on-site

The on-site registration desk will be located in the Hangzhou Blossom Water Museum Hotel.

All the on-site participants must strictly follow the rules and regulations of COVID-19 in China. You’re the Health QR /mini-program Health Kit (Jiankang Bao) and Trip Track Code (Xinchen Ma) must be presented when Check-in. Make sure that you are not from the medium and high-risk and lockdown areas. You should wear face mask and have your temperature check during the congress.
